The Adoptables

Dec. 13, 2012 @ 06:20 PM

Snow White is waiting in the shelter for her Prince Charming.

The energetic, adult, female Husky mix was a stray and has been at the shelter for about a week. She is up-to-date on her shots and is not spayed yet, but that is included in the adoption fee.

She likes to play and frolic, but also enjoys leaning into a person for a good belly rub. Snow White will thrive with an active family and space to run and play in. She is very friendly and, like many dogs, does not understand the concept of personal space.

Snowball is dreaming of a white Christmas with a new family.

The black, domestic short-haired kitten is up-to-date on her shots. She was found as a stray and has been at the shelter for about a week.

Snowball likes to be held and petted. She is quiet, but will let you know when she wants attention.

Taz, a sweet and playful orange kitten is also waiting for a family at the shelter.

The fee for adopting a dog or a cat is $85. The fee includes first shots, deworming, a heartworm check, rabies shots, spaying or neutering and a one time "well check" vet visit.

The shelter is on 3340 Presson Road in Monroe. The phone number is 704-283-8303. Adoption hours are Monday through Friday from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.
