Anniversary: James and Alice Little
Mr. and Mrs. James Watt Little of Monroe celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Dec. 15, 2012 with a reception at Crooked Creek Primitive Baptist Church in Monroe. It was hosted by family and friends.
They were married on December 23, 1962 in Monroe at the home of Elder Cornish and Mattie Ratcliff. Mrs. Alive Little is the former Alice Ruth Griffin, daughter of the late Roy and Kathleen Griffin of Wingate. She is retired from Radiator Specialty in Indian Trail.
His parents are the late James Moses and Lela Belle Little of Monroe. He is retired from the the U.S. Postal Service in Charlotte.
Their children and spouses are Tracy Little and wife, Paulette, of Fort Mill, S.C. and Jill Pressley and husband, Mike, of Monroe. They have five grandchildren.
