Wedding announcement: Cantrell-Whitley

The Clebourne House in Fort Mill, S.C. was the setting for the Oct. 20, 2012 wedding of Laura Ann Cantrell to John Thomas Whitley. The Rev. Christopher Harbin officiated.
The bride is the daughter of  Jimmy and Roxanne Catoe of Rock Hill, S.C. She graduated from Winthrop University and has a master's degree from Columbia University. She is employed by the Rock Hill school district as a teacher.
The groom is the son of Becky Whitley of Marshville and the late Lanny Whitley. He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. He is employed by the United States Baskeball Association as the executive vice president.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. Serving as matron of honor was the bride's sister, Leslie Parrish. Bridesmaids were April Paulk and Amy Nantz.
Ryan Burton served as best man. Groomsmen were the groom's brothers, Mark Whitley and Joseph Whitley.
Also in the wedding party ushers Andy Richarson and Jonathan Peele, and Banks Burton, son of the best man, served as ring bearer. Music was provided by Steven Wilson.
The wedding reception, held at the Clebourne House, followed the ceremony.
The rehearsal dinner was held on Oct. 19, 2012 at Harper's Restaurant in Pineville and was hosted by the groom's mother.
After a wedding trip to Riviera Maya, Mexico, the Whitleys will reside in Tega Cay, S.C.
