The Jeffries home in Fairfax, Iowa was the setting for the 7 p.m. Dec. 27, 2012 wedding of Kimberly Ann Jeffries and Matthew David Hinson. The Rev. Dennis Jeffries officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Dennis and Carol Jeffries of Fairfax, Iowa. She is the granddaughter of Wilmetta Jeffries and the late Philip Jeffries of Lamar, Mo. and the late Calvin and Margaret Demott of Lamar, Mo.
She graduated from Lighthouse Christian High School in 2008.
The groom is the son of Mark and Cheryl Hinson of Monroe. His grandparents are the late Joe and Alene Hinson of Wingate and Cecil and Jean Bailey of Marshville. He is a 2010 graduate of Forest Hills High School and is currently a junior at N.C. State University. He is employed by Chic-Fil-A and University Dining in Raleigh.
The bride, given in marriage by her parents, wore a long gown of ivory satin. It was fashioned with a sweetheart neckline, basque waist and a sleeveless bodice. The gown was trimmed with beaded accents and ivory rosettes. She carried a mixed bouquet arranged with pinecones and pine needles.
Serving as matron of honor was Rebecca Coleman, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Wendy Price of Monroe and Courtney Braker of Lamar, Mo
Alan Price, brother-in-law of the bride, served as best man. Groomsmen were Levi Price of Monroe and Alex Price of Monroe. Also in the wedding party was Rylie Price, niece of the bride, serving as flower girl.
The wedding reception, held at Atkins City Park Pavillion, followed the ceremony. A reception dinner was held on Feb. 1, 2013 at the Wingate Community Center.
After a post-wedding trip to Monroe/Marshville, the couple will reside in Raleigh.
