Trudy Eudy, one of eight magistrates for Union County, said the best part of her job is getting the ball rolling helping those unfamiliar with the judicial system understand what's happening. Yet most people don't know what magistrates do, she said, adding that she didn't have a clue until she became one 12 years ago.
