Hall earns professional recognition

Dixon Hall, a long-time insurance agent, has earned the registered Health Underwriter (RHU) and the Chartered Healthcare Consultant (ChHC) designations from The American College.

Candidates for the RHU designation have to complete three courses and six hours of supervised examinations; the ChHC designation requires six courses and 12 hours of examinations. A ChHC professional can provide expert advise on a broad range of health insurance-related topics, including state exchanges, medial loss ratios, flexible spending accounts, cafeteria plans, health savings accounts and more. The RHU study focuses on group and individual health insurance, managed care and other health insurance topics.

As an insurance agent for more than 22 years, Hall sells and services all types of insurance, including health, life and auto insurance, Medicare Supplement, Medicare Advantage and Inclusive Health. He has not only been recognized by insurance companies for his skills but by his clients for his continuing service. He earned the People's Choice Award for insurance agents in The Enquirer-Journal's recent poll.

Hall has been honored by Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina for outstanding service and was presented with the 2011 Century Club Award for sales and service to Medicare beneficiaries. He also was the top health insurance agent within Farm Bureau Insurance of North Carolina in 2011.

Hall's insurance credentials include being a Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), and a fellow with the Life Underwriter Training Council (LUTCF). Other professional achievements include Accredited Advisor Insurance, Associate Insurance Management, Associate Insurance Services, Associate Personal Insurance and Associate in Commercial Underwriting.
