Ms. Teresa Kindley Goldner, age 47, of Monroe, North Carolina, passed away Friday, January 11, 2013 at the McWhorter Hospice House of Union County in Monroe, North Carolina.
Funeral Services to Celebrate the Life of Teresa Kindley Goldner will be conducted at 3:00 PM Sunday, January 13, 2013, at Zion United Methodist Church in Monroe.
Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Ms. Goldner was born on March 5, 1965, in Union County, North Carolina, a daughter of Robert A. Kindley and Elsie Starnes Kindley.
She was a restaurant manager for many years.
Survivors, in addition to her parents, include a brother, Robert D. Kindley of Monroe; her grandmother, Cleona Burgess Starnes of Monroe, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Her family would like to thank Hospice of Union County for their compassionate and caring support to Teresa and her family.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM Sunday, prior to the service in the New Life Center of Zion United Methodist Church.

Howard Lee Hartsell, 93, died January 11, 2013, at his home in Midland.
The family will receive friends from 3 to 4 p.m., Sunday, January 13, 2013 at Bethel United Methodist Church in Midland. The funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. in the sanctuary.

Bobby Vernon Shaw, 69, passed away Thursday, January 10, 2013, following a lengthy battle with cancer, and with his loving family by his side. He was born on August 18, 1943 in Union County, son of the late Wesley Vernon and Avis Strawn Shaw. He was preceded in death by his brother, Wesley Ed Shaw.
Mr. Shaw was a graduate of Western Carolina University and a U. S. Army veteran. He enjoyed golf and football and also coached baseball and football.
Funeral services will be Monday, January 14, 2013 at 11:30 AM in Gordon Funeral Chapel, 1904 Lancaster Avenue, Monroe, NC 28112. Burial will follow in the Prospect United Methodist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 10:00 – 11:15 AM prior to the service.
Mr. Shaw is survived by his wife, Sandra Whitaker Shaw; son, Robert Wesley Shaw and wife Terry of Monroe; daughter, Jennifer Shaw Griffin and husband, Tripp, of Hickory; brother, Ward Bruce Shaw and wife Jeanette of Horsham PA; sister, Janis S. Misenheimer and deceased husband Dan of Monroe; sister-in-law, Mary B. Shaw; grandchildren, Buckley, Jackson and Skylar Shaw and Waker and Sam Griffin; and ten nieces and nephews.

Willie Douglas Wilson, 67, of Monroe, died Wednesday Jan. 9, 2013 at Palmetto Health Care in Columbia, S.C.
