Roosevelt Broadway of Monroe died Wednesday, November 21, 2012, at Hospice of Monroe.
Arrangements remain incomplete and will be announced by Richmond Funeral Home of Monroe.

James Hinson
Mr. James Baxter Hinson, 81 of Peachland died Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at CMC Main in Charlotte.  
Born June 7, 1931 in Anson County, he was preceded in death by his parents, Fairley and Myrtle Thomas Hinson, his wife, Doris Ross Hinson, brother, Bryce David Hinson and sister, Mary Hinson Vaughn Coley.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.  James was a patent attorney for Westinghouse and retired from his private practice in Charlotte.
A funeral service to celebrate the life of James will be Sunday at 2:30 pm from the chapel of Morgan & Son Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Fountain Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Saturday from 5:30- 7 PM at the funeral home.
Mr. Hinson is survived by a daughter, Dr. Jennifer Huhn of Versailles, KY; sister, Margie Hinson Pigg of Peachland; sister in law, Annie Hinson of Peachland; grandchild, Brett; fiance’ JoElla DeGrio of the home; numerous nieces and nephews; and his beloved cat, Faucette.
In memory of his loving wife, Jim has established the Doris Ross Hinson Medical Scholarship Trust, c/o Robert Palmer, Attorney, 614 W. Main Street, Marshville, NC, 28103.  The family requests in lieu of flowers that donations be made to this fund.

David M. Kenerley
Mr. David M. Kenerley, age 71, of Wingate, N.C., passed away Thursday, November 22, 2012 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Mr. Kenerley was the owner of Wingate Golf Driving Range in Wingate, N.C. . He was a graduate of High Point University and a member of Delta Sigma Phi Fraternity.
David is survived by his wife of 50 years, Bonnie O. Kenerley; son, Mike Kenerley and wife Lyndsey of Charlotte, daughter, Angie RochvonRochsburg and husband Eric, and Julie Hudson and husband Charlie all of Wingate, N.C.; grandchildren, Spencer, Leland, Walker and Cole, brother, Ron Kenerley of High Point, N.C., and sister, Judy Yokeley of Charlotte.
The family will receive friends and relatives for visitation Sunday afternoon (November 25, 2012) from 12:00 noon until 1:00 P.M. at the McEwen Funeral Home in Monroe
Funeral services for Mr. Kenerley will then begin at 1:00 P.M. in the McEwen Colonial Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Dane Jordan, with burial to follow in the Sharon Memorial Park in Charlotte, N.C. .

C.W. Roddy
C.W. Roddy of East Palo Alto, California, died Nov. 11, 2012.
She was the daughter of the late Fred Douglas and Ola Funderburk Williams.
Services will be Nov. 26, 2012 at 1 p.m. at Skylawn Memorial Park in San Mateo, Calif.
