Mr. Jerry Wesley Faulkner entered his eternal rest through Jesus Christ on February 15, 2013. A service to celebrate his life will be held 3:00 p.m. Monday at Christ Covenant Church, 800 Fullwood Lane, Matthews, NC. The family will host a reception immediately following the service. A native of Charlotte, Mr. Faulkner was born to the late Worth and Martha Bickett Faulkner. Friends and family would say that he was a people person and never met a stranger. Jerry was a 32nd degree Mason and was formerly associated with Dixie News and News Group. As a member of Church of the Redeemer, he was loved by all. Mr. Faulkner is survived by his church family and his wife, Marilyn; daughter, Demeriss Epperson and husband, Lester; sons, Trent Faulkner and wife, Marigrace, Dean Faulkner and wife, Elizabeth; grandchildren, Taylor and Leah Epperson, Daniel and Madison Faulkner and Mitchell and Bethany Faulkner; and by his brother, James Faulkner and wife, Jan. The family suggests memorials be made to Church of the Redeemer, Building Fund, 2605 W. Roosevelt Blvd., Monroe, NC 28110 or to Hospice of Union County, 700 W. Roosevelt Blvd., Monroe, NC 28110. Mr. Raymond Joseph Gasner, 84, died Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at his residence.
Mr. Ganser was born March 22, 1928 in Fort Atkinson WI., son of the late Mark M. and Myra B. Kosher Ganser, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Mary T. Chady Ganser, a son-in-law, Michael M. Bristow and a great grandson, Zachary Neuman.
Rosary Service will be 5:00 p.m. Sunday, February 17, in the McEwen Colonial Chapel. Visitation will follow from 5:30 until 7:00 p.m.
Services to celebrate the life of Raymond will be 3:00 p.m. Monday at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, with Father Benjamin A. Roberts, celebrant. Interment will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Fort Atkinson, WI.
Survivors include sons, Gary Ganser (Karen) of Mayville WI., Mark Ganser (Sharon) of Seward AK., Daniel Ganser (Lisa) of Guyton Ga., daughters, Kathryn Bolger (Steve) of DePere, Wi., Barbara Little (Mike) of Gilbert AZ., Margaret Bristow of Florence SC, 18 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, special friend Irene Patrus of Monroe NC, brothers-in-law, Brother Tom Chady of Texas, Jim Chady of Illinois, John Chady of California.

Betty (Cooke) Thomasian, age 83, of Danvers, Mass., formerly of Melbourne, FL and Burlington, Mass. died Feb. 13.
Beloved wife of the late Harry. Loving mother of Betsy White and her husband Fred of E. Walpole, Nancy Heffernan and her husband Heff of Peachtree Corners, Ga., Harry Thomasian Jr. and his wife Carey of Cockeysville, Md., and Susan Minghella and her husband Stephen of Burlington.
She was predeceased by 10 brothers and sisters including her sister Joanne Harkey of Monroe, N.C., who visited her often.
Betty was the proud grandmother of Thomas and Susan White, Elizabeth and Harry Thomasian III, and Eric and Brian Minghella.
Funeral Services will be private.
