Benny W. LaFoy, Sr.

INDIAN TRAIL

Benny W. LaFoy, Sr., 69, of Indian Trail died Friday, October 16, 2009 at his home.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Indian Trail United Methodist Church.

He was born July 22, 1940 in Hope Mills, to the late Rufus B. and Ethel H. LaFoy.

Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Peggy M. LaFoy; son, Benny Wayne LaFoy, Jr., both of Indian Trail; sister, Peggy Ann Bailes of Fort Mill; brother, Robert D. LaFoy of Fort Mill; sister, Vicky Ernsberger of Mooresville; and by several nieces and nephews.

His family will receive friends for the hour prior to the service.

Arrangements for the LaFoy family are in the care of Heritage Funeral Home, Indian Trail Chapel.

Margo McCoy Williams

MONROE

Margo McCoy Williams, 34, died Thursday (Oct. 15, 2009) at Carolinas Medical Center-Union.

Funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses in Monroe, with burial in Lakeland Memorial Park.

Born Oct. 23, 1974, she was a daughter of Elijah Bristow of Rockingham and Johnsie McCoy of Laurinburg and was married to Robert Michael Williams. She was an employee of Mecklenburg Medical Group in Matthews.

Survivors, in addition to her parents and husband, include one son, Donovan M. Williams; one daughter, Naiya Monet Williams; and three brothers, Ramont McCoy of Lansing, Mich., Tyrue McCoy of Laurinburg and Terrance Bristow of Bennettsville, S.C.

Public viewing will be 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Monroe.
