Free concerts slated at Wingate
The university’s Wind Ensemble will present a band concert, “Sounds of the Holidays,” on Nov. 30 at 7:30 p.m. The concert conducted by Dawn Perry will include traditional Christmas tunes.
The Wingate University singers will present a choral concert, “With Instrument and Voice,” Dec. 1 at 7:30 p.m. The concert conducted by Kenney Potter and Heather Potter will feature Christmas music from around the world. Some of the featured carols will be: “Angels We Have Heard on High,” “Silent Night”, “I Saw Three Ships” and “Fum Fum Fum.”
