Ruby Catoe Hildreth of Monroe celebrated her 81st birthday, Nov. 22, 2009. She was born Nov. 22, 1928, in Monroe and is the former Ruby Stogner, daughter of the late Buck Stogner and Odessa Laney.

She is retired as a hairdresser at Style-O-Rama in Monroe.

Her husband was the late Drew Edward Catoe. Their children are Sean Hildreth and Janice Autry, both of Pageland, S.C., and Dianne Kelly of Monroe. She has four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
