Kyle Buffkin, a 6-10 center who played for Union Academy in 2011-12 and Sun Valley before that, has signed a full scholarship to play basketball at Coastal Carolina in Conway, S.C.

Corey Sikes improved to 7-0 on the mound with a complete-game one-hitter, Cameron Price had a grand slam and Nigel Hester delivered a two-run triple as the Panthers improved to 22-2.
