Union County's State Championship History

Union County's high school sports teams have combined to win 51 state championships, according to NCHSAA records, which date back an entire century (1914). In fairness to history, UC has twice as many public high schools now (10) as it did from 1960 through 1999, and the NCHSAA recognizes more sports.
