Mr. and Mrs. Tony Starnes of Waxhaw announce the engagement of their daughter, Jessica Rae Starnes, to Michael Alan Brooks.
Jessica graduated from Parkwood High School in 2004 and from Carolinas College of Health Sciences in 2008. She is employed by Levine Children’s Hospital at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte.
Her fiance is the son of Mr. and Mrs. David Brooks of Mineral Springs. He is a 2002 graduate of Parkwood High School and is employed by Vanguard Supreme Monarch.
A Nov. 7, 2009, wedding is planned at the Dairy Barn in Fort Mill, S.C.
