Jackson Van Maske

Adam and Megan Starnes Maske of Monroe announce the birth of their son, Jackson Van, on July 17, 2009, at Carolinas Medical Center-Union. Jackson weighed 4 pounds, 6 ounces and was 18 inches long.

His grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Willie Maske of Wingate, and Gary Starnes and Kim Starnes, both of Monroe. He is the great-grandson of Kemp and Mable Medlin of Buford, S.C., and Eustace and Myrtle Threatt of Pageland, S.C.

Zoey-Ana Chumley

D.C. and Carmen Hill Chumley of Concord announce the birth of their daughter Zoey-Ana Breeze, on July 1, 2009, at NorthEast Medical Center in Concord.

Zoey-Ana weighed 8 pounds and was 21 inches long.

Her grandparents are Arnold and Ramona Hill of Monroe and Donald and Marie Chumley of Kernersville. She is the great-grandchild of Robert and Sara Parler of Monroe and Madaline Watson of Macon, Ga.
