Jamie Lynn Beppler

MONROE — Ms. Jamie Lynn Beppler, age 33, of Monroe, passed away Tuesday (September 29, 2009) at her residence.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Ms. Beppler will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday (October 2, 2009) at Davis Funeral Chapel, officiated by Reverend Paul Saleeby, of Benton Heights Presbyterian Church.

Ms. Beppler was born on September 23, 1976, in Scranton, Pennsylvania, a daughter of Fred Leslie Beppler and Barbara Ann Finkley Beppler. She was a homemaker.

She was a loving and caring person who over came many obstacles in her life.

Survivors include her son, her daughter, her parents, a brother, a sister, her grandfather, and her companion, Ronnie Hough.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday night (October 1, 2009) at Davis Funeral Home in Monroe, 1003 East Franklin Street.

Memorials may be made to Benton Heights Presbyterian Church Building Fund; 2701 Concord Highway; Monroe, North Carolina 28110.

Theresa Dennis

INDIAN TRAIL — Theresa Hedrick Dennis, 81, died Sunday (Sept. 27, 2009) at Gaston Memorial Hospital.

Funeral will be at a later date.

She was retired from food service at Carolinas Medical Center-Union.

Heritage Funeral Home is in charge.

Jeanelle Kennedy

MONROE — Mrs. Jeanelle H. Kennedy, 78, died Monday, September 28, 2009, at Carolinas Medical Center-Union. Mrs. Kennedy was born September 14, 1931, in Adel, Georgia, daughter of the late John Gilbert and Frankie Malpas Hammack. She was a retired administrator assistant with Eastern Airlines.

Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Lakeland Memorial Park, with Reverend John C. Culbreth officiating. Visitation will be 7-8 p.m. Friday at the McEwen Funeral Home of Monroe.

Survivors include her husband, Robert David Kennedy Jr. of the home; son, John David Kennedy and wife Teresa Ann of Maiden, N.C.; daughter, H. Anita Kennedy and husband Steve Masak of Tampa, Fla.; two grandsons, Robert David Kennedy III and Christopher Lawrence Kennedy, both of Miami, Fla.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Calvary Baptist Church, 2518 Lancaster Hwy., Monroe, NC 28112.

McEwen Funeral and Cremation Service of Monroe is serving the family of Mrs. Kennedy.

MARSHVILLE — Haskel McClendon, 61, died Sunday (Sept. 27, 2009) at Carolinas Medical Center-Union in Monroe.

Funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Smith Funeral Home in Wadesboro, with burial in Westview Memorial Park in Wadesboro.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Hubert Williams

MONROE — Hubert Oscar Williams, 84, died Tuesday (Sept. 29, 2009) at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte.
