Lexington, Ky.----The Wingate University volleyball team has been nominated for the AVCA Play of the Week. The Bulldogs have one of the five plays eligible for this week’s honor, starting today. Wingate is the final play listed on the page. The Wingate play is a kill from junior middle blocker Stormi Gale (Richmond, Texas) in the second set of the 3-0 win over USC Aiken Tuesday, Sept. 29. Fans can vote on the play on the right side of the screen. The winner will be announced next Wednesday.
