Antique, collectibles sale this weekend

WAXHAW — The American Legion Auxiliary will have its semi-annual antique and collectibles sale this weekend at American Legion Post 28. This event is held to raise funds for area veterans. CROP Walk meeting Tuesday

MONROE — All Union County churches are welcome to send a representative to an organizational meeting for the annual CROP Hunger Walk. The meeting will be Tuesday at 7 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Monroe.

The CROP Walk is scheduled for April 18 in downtown Monroe.

CROP Hunger Walks are communitywide events sponsored by Church World Service and organized by local congregations, raising funds and awareness to combat hunger at home and around the world. Each year more than 2,000 communities participate nationwide.
