Jordyn Payton Allen

Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Payton Allen of Stanfield announce the birth of their son, Jordyn Payton, on Sept. 9, 2009, at Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast in Concord. Jordyn weighed 6 pounds, 12.4 ounces and was 20.5 inches long.

His grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Danny Tarlton and Mr. and Mrs. Edmond Allen, all of Stanfield. He is the great-grandchild of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Tarlton of Monroe.

Ava Marie Nuzzolese

Joe and Carey Nuzzolese of Wingate announce the birth of their daughter, Ava Marie, on Sept. 29, 2009, at Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte. Ava weighed 6 pounds, 9 ounces and was 19 inches long. His grandparents are Jimmy and Gail Austin of Waxhaw and Pete and Laurie Nuzzolese of Monroe.

She is the great-grandchild of Neil and Carolyn Aycoth of Monroe, Catherine Austin of Monroe and Ann Nuzzolese of Goshen, N.Y.
