Re-elect Lynda Paxton
I have had the privilege of working with Mayor Paxton on an issue in regard to private sewer service rates this past year.
This issue affected the citizens of my neighborhood, Country Woods East, and other neighborhoods in Stallings and Indian Trail. It did not require any action by the town, but given the number of our citizens affected, Mayor Paxton took it upon herself to get involved. With her help, I was able to speak directly to the county commissioners and enlist their support.
Thanks to Mayor Paxton’s actions both town and county resolutions were passed on our behalf.
Throughout the personal, telephonic and electronic correspondence with Mayor Paxton, I could tell that this is a person who wants to serve her fellow citizens. She wants the job of mayor, not the title. We all know enough folks with titles, but no accomplishments. Mayor Paxton is a doer. If we want to see our town steadily become the best it can be, the continued leadership of Mayor Paxton is definitely what we need.

Mayor Paxton is a dependable, honest, hard-working mayor. When she was first elected, she handled with dignity the shameful way our council voted to move her office out of town hall. She has responsibly responded to the attacks by certain council members. Her professional behavior makes her the perfect candidate for the mayor of a growing town. I totally agree, Mayor Linda Paxton should be re-elected!
