Local briefs December 4
MONROE — The Union County Health Department will hold three flu shot clinics next week — one for seasonal flu shots and two for H1N1 shots.
A walk-in seasonal flu shot clinic for school-age children will be Monday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Health Department at 1224 W. Roosevelt Blvd.
Two H1N1 clinics will be held on Wednesday. The first will be from 8 a.m. to noon at the Health Department and will be for anyone 18 years or older and is by appointment only. The second will be from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Union County Agricultural Center at 3230 Presson Road. This is a walk-in clinic for anyone of any age desiring an H1N1 vaccination.
